is apparently someone's alt.
I asked why his alliance was named "Ash's to Ash's" rather then the grammatically correct "Ashes to Ashes" and suggested the person who named it made a misjudgment.
He retaliated by not only threatening my corp, my alliance, and my friends - but my honour.
So I told him to kill himself (ingame) whereupon he remarked that I was a "tough guy" for telling an alt to kill himself (ingame).
If anyone knows who his main is, please let me know so I can tell his main to kill himself (ingame).
Alternatively, post stories about ******s trying to smack talk you and being terrible at it.
edit: probably worth mentioning that I assume his name was meant to be "Emperor Descartes" so perhaps it's his main that created the alliance and maybe he's embarrassed how bad he is at spelling (and he had no problems telling me he was going to kill everyone I cared about in fluent English so I doubt it's a language barrier).

I'm not saying my corp is perfect, but I'm not going to threaten everyone you love because you point that out - that was my point. This guy has been unfairly abusive towards me, and I'd like to take him up on the offer of telling his super powerful main where to stick it.

I'm happy to post chatlogs proving that I was not the one initiating smack. Yes, I asked why "Ash's to Ash's" was spelt ******edly - possibly the correct "Ashes to Ashes" was taken? I'm not sure. But I only got hostile when Empirer Decartes was extremely threatening and rude to me.
I don't take crap from many people, and people with badly spelt names and alliances aren't on that list.
Thanks for admitting to account sharing though, that was pretty cool.

Since then, I've been on the recieving end of a lot of hate mail from the Decartes family. It's pretty lol.
Not as lol as what a fellow forum member (thanks SB!) sent me. Turns out I'm not the only person the Decartes family have mouthed off at with little to actually show for it.

I started this topic with the intention of finding out more about you. I'm a C&P regular, it's natural that I should use this as an intelligence gathering tool. At no stage have Lexa or I attempted to troll you. At no stage have we lowered ourselves to calling you "butt buddies" or anything similarly childish.
I simply wished to know who you were, what you did, and how I could find you.
Good job on the great replies to the thread though - they make you guys look very intelligent.

Uplingur was purged of all bads.
Probably because despite being online they weren't there.
I therefore offered my assistance in securing their own space as it seemed the Decartes family was in need of some muscle.
Either way, it seems Uplingur is now back to normal :))))

I said as much in the conversation.
We also know you were in Aunia, but given Aunia is hisec, you were docked up, and we didn't feel like wasting our time we decided to go through the Uplingur area.
I don't think we ever said we were going to come and get you, I just wanted to tell you that you're all terrible at this game. You were the ones with grand allusions about stopping our use of Uplingur, destroying our ships, and making EVE unplayable for us.
I guess it's kinda hard from the inside of a station in Aunia eh, especially when you're backtracking your words so quickly.

Yes, my first loss.
Suffered at the hands of gate guns while drunk and having fun with my friends.
GOD FORBID I ACTUALLY ENJOY MY TIME IN EVE!!  Jared laughed about our losses for a good 10 minutes.
I also hardly think that paying people who kill us is the same as having people actively hunt us lol.
It's like, ****, Lexa's wartargets killed him. THAT MUST MEAN THEY ARE WORKING FOR THE DECARTES FAMILY. Nevermind that Garmon loses a 2.5BN Maelstrom in the same fight. They were obviously gunning for Lexa. Obviously.
Just like the gateguns and the ferox were obviously gunning straight for us. It had nothing to do with us going blinky at a gate. Nothing at all.
Looks like your well laid plan is coming to fruition. Who would have thought that 2 pilots who currently actively engage in PvP might take a loss everynow and then?
In conclusion: I tried to buy SC2 today, but it was sold out everywhere except JB HiFi (our version of Gamestop) and they wouldn't price match because they're **** so I didn't end up grabbing it. Personal disappointment tbh.

You're terrible. Neither Lexa nor myself have died because of your piddly bounty. Neither of us have faced death at the hands of the Descartes. Infact, I've been solo'ing pretty comfortably and have escaped a number of sticky situations.
Despite this, all of the sticky situations were my own doing, or were with people who had no affiliation to the Decartes family.
So good job. You are famous for being terrible.

Each time it's been something I've done rather then someone coming to kill me with the intention of killing me for the Decartes family.

Update: I convo'd KC Decartes today to ask him where he was, and if he wished to engage in a gentleman's fight.
He declined, calling me a nub and suggesting I use a locator.
I told him that I felt sorry for him paying other people to kill me when they weren't doing it for him, so was offering him the chance to kill me himself so he could pay himself and save some ISK.
Long story short, he called my mother a racial slur and my father something horrible.
So I got a friend to use a locator.
Despite not being at war with my corporation or alliance, and me not having killrights it seems the Decartes family have escaped to Wormhole space in order to avoid the mean Mickey Simon and the scary Lexa Hellfury.
I must say, all of this has caused me to feel like I can no longer play EVE properly. I now live in fear, and therefore surrender to the power that is the Decartes family.

KC Decartes just convo'd me and asked if I wanted to talk on vent. I replied in the affirmatory despite not having a headset (mine broke a few days ago) as I was eager to hear what he had to say.
We logged on to a friend of mine's server and I used bindings to talk. I informed him I didn't have a microphone.
Decartes seems to think that he is a bulldog. He will not back down. He finds it amusing that Lexa and I cannot find him and that we can't do a thing to stop him.
I asked him what there was to stop. He doesn't actually do anything short of looking pants on head ******ed in this thread and jump into wormholes in his no-doubt cloaking, bubble nullifying, stabbed tengu.
All of this, after threatening me, and promising to make EVE unplayable for me.
He alluded to friends in Cry Havoc (Cry Havoc are pretty cool guys, I doubt they'd have anything to do with this guy) and he said we could end this just me apologising. I said that would be fine, as long as he apologised for having a bad alliance name.
Apparently that's not acceptable so our ETERNAL STRUGGLE will continue I guess.
He also thinks that we are getting very worked up in our forum posting.

This thing is still going unfortunately.
KC Decartes keeps convo'ing me wanting me to apologise, and I see no reason for me to do so. He keeps threatening me, and keeps escalating this.
He has now reached the point of view that I am a bad player but I am being protected by larger groups.
Despite me stating on numerous occaisions I am happy to 1v1 him he ignores it and continues his campaign against me.
According to him, not only does he have spies within my alliance, he will also be declaring war on me.
In addition, I believe he has made contact not only with HYDRA RELOADED but also Goonswarm Federation. Perhaps it's better if I just quote the mail he forwarded me.
